Volunteer

Volunteers play a big part of our club here at KLM. Whether it is KLM alum, parent, young player, or student requiring work experience credit (volunteer hours), a diversity of locals collaborate alongside the club to make local youth soccer a positive experience for kids in our community. Volunteers help KLM remain one of the most accessible and affordable soccer clubs available to local families.

The club no longer offers team officials financial incentives to volunteer. Beginning in 2020, KLM shows appreciation for our volunteers by investing in: 1) a catered, volunteer meet & greet to start the season, 2) a year end party for volunteers, 3) an adult soccer night for volunteers. If you would like to volunteer as a team official please contact the club in early May (1st-15th) at: info@klmsoccer.com

Coach/Assistant Coach

Each U16-U18 team has at least two coaches who are responsible for on-field activities for the team. The Technical Director supports our volunteer coaches with periodic in-house coaching clinics and information regarding coach development.

Team Manager

All KLM teams have 1-2 parents who take on managerial tasks of team communications and scheduling.

Community Volunteer Roles

KLM welcomes the support from both club and community members for ongoing KLM needs. The club always appreciates reliable support in roles including gameday equipment management (nets, etc), field lining, equipment storage assistance and sponsor outreach. The club does not offer vouchers or registration discounts for these particular roles. If you would like to contribute some of your time at KLM please contact: info@klmsoccer.com
