Important Information To Review Before Registering

  • All teams are coached by qualified staff coaches
  • Coaches are selected per the KLM Coach Selection Policy
  • U13-U18 teams practice once a week. The club will organize a 2nd weekly practice and provide a staff coach based on player interest on a team by team basis.
  • U13-U18 play games every weekend through the season in the BC Coastal Soccer League – Boys teams play on Saturdays and Girls teams generally play on Sundays.
  • Please note, the league schedules for U13 – U18 are not created by KLM Soccer Club but by BC Coastal Soccer League with schedules being sent to the Clubs. KLM has no control over league
    schedules; we are obligated to follow them. The club shares the schedules with families via our RSVP platform that is sent to all families via their emails. Schedules are also available online and KLM will share those links to families once they are available.
  • Teams play home games in fields located in Vancouver and away games will be played in locations across the Lower Mainland
  • Practice for teams will be on turf fields based on availability per the Vancouver Park Board from season to season. When turf fields are not available, the teams may practice on grass or gravel fields. Please note we have no control over Vancouver Park Board allocations and utilize what is assigned to us from year to year.
  • The season starts the weekend after Labour Day and runs through to early March with some teams playing to June if they have reached the cup phases.
  • Occasionally practices and games are cancelled due to inclement weather or factors beyond our control. We strive to always provide families with at least 2 hours notice in the case of cancellation.
  • Starting in September 2025 Players must purchase KIT for $50, which includes 2 match jerseys, 1 pair of shorts, 1 pair of socks.
  • Players must provide their own soccer cleats and shin guards.

    • Fall: September 21st – December 7th

Jasmeen was born in Vancouver and she and her siblings grew up playing soccer with KLM. Jasmeen completed her Bachelors in Criminology at SFU. She strives to ensure there are no barriers for families registering with the club. Her priority is ensuring players have the same inclusive and fun filled experience as she did.

Jordano grew up in Vancouver playing for KLM in his youth. A current player on the UBC Men’s Soccer Team, Jordano has been coaching with KLM since 2018 and is committed to giving back to his community through soccer.

Kassim grew up playing and watching soccer as a young boy in Syria. Kassim joined KLM as a volunteer equipment manager in 2018 and is now the clubs Operations Manager. His work for the club ensures to create a happy and safe environment for all kids when they step on the soccer field.

Makenna grew up in the Sea to Sky corridor playing soccer, coaching, and refereeing. She completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at UBC. Makenna is passionate about delivering accessible and affordable youth sports programs for all in her community.
