|Participants||Girls & Boys
U17 (2005), U18 (2004)
First week: Sept 6th – 12th, 2020
KLM has no control over league schedules; all clubs, teams, and officials are obligated to follow them.
|Holidays||Winter Holidays: Dec 13th – Jan 2nd projected
Games are typically not scheduled during Thanksgiving (mid-October) or Family Day weekend (mid-Feb). The club notifies team officials, who in turn notify players & parents of all schedule changes ahead of time.
Teams practice twice per week. One practice is on turf. The other practice is on grass through mid-October, and then switch to indoor school gymnasiums for winter months (location to be announced).
Practice Schedule: (subject to changes)
Teams have one indoor/futsal-style soccer practice during the winter months. The cost is included in the registration. Indoor practices are held at either 6-7pm or 7-8pm at local school gymnasiums; parents will be notified by their team officials. It is great chance to avoid snowy days and try indoor style of soccer!
*All indoor practices are dependent on approval from the Vancouver School Board.
The league typically schedules divisional games late morning to early afternoons. Boys play Saturdays between 8am-8pm; girls play Sunday between 8am-8pm; with the occasionally Friday evening game between 6-8pm. Games range from 70-90 minutes depending on age group. ‘Away games’ are played against other clubs across Greater Vancouver. Typically, the higher the competitive level, the farther the teams can expect to travel.
