About Playing at KLM

My Child Has Not played soccer before, can they still join?

Absolutely, everyone is welcome at KLM. The goal at KLM is for every player to have fun therefore the club will place your child on the team that best suits their playing ability/experience.

Are my child’s game schedules listed somewhere on the club site?

No, you will not find schedules on the KLM website.
The BCCSL league schedules at intervals (every 6 weeks or so), but also makes last minute updates to game locations and times. Last minute changes can affect team players and parents but note, KLM has no control over league schedules; we are obligated to follow them. Team officials forward their team schedules (and notice of changes) to parents/players directly. Thank you for your understanding here.

You can see league teams, schedules, and results (beginning at U13) at: https://www.bccoastalsoccerleague.com/schedules

Is KLM a league or club?

Beginning at U8, KLM teams are balanced each year ensure the best development and experience for all players. Starting at U11, players are tiered based on player ability. Please contact info@klmsoccer.com or visit the website to learn more about our player assessment process at https://klmsoccer.ca/assessments

Equipment

What equipment does my child need?

Players must provide their own shin guards and cleats. KLM will supply a free t-shirt for U5-U7 and uniforms from U8 to U18 for each registrant. Each player will have a ball available for them to use during practice sessions. We recommend players have a ball for use at home.
